About the Chef

I’ve always had an interest in cooking as far back as I can remember. My mother tells a funny story of when I was 5 years old and in kindergarten. We had made bread in class and I came home telling her I was going to be the Bread Man.

I attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island where I received my degree in Baking and Pastry Arts . Upon graduating I was hired on at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Palm Beach FL in the Pastry Department. I worked my way up to Executive Pastry Chef with the hotel chain and ultimately moved from the Ritz-Carlton to the Walt Disney World company where I was also an Executive Pastry Chef. After leaving Disney I bounced around a bit helping several people open restaurants in Florida. I ultimately landed in Georgia where I joined the team at Whole Foods Market running their prepared foods team at the Ponce DeLeon location and ultimately became a Store Team Leader.

Although I enjoyed the leadership aspect of the work and the tremendous pride I felt in helping others achieve their goals, I always felt that itch to be back in the kitchen. It’s been a lifelong dream and here we are. My Family and I have lived in Buford for 12 years and it’s our desire to have a hometown place where good friends can come enjoy great food.
